Frequently asked questions

Yes! Because we’ve never met before, how can we possibly charge you for a lesson without knowing what you want and need to learn?
The Norwich Guitar Academy has one thing in mind, our students.

Our first lesson is about getting to know you and developing a progress plan to help you get the most out of every guitar, bass or ukulele lesson.

Norwich Guitar Academy run an annual programme of external exams with RGT & Rockschool. Your tutor will advise on the appropriate time and level of examination.

You are liable for examinations and accompanist fees.

There is no need to bring anything apart from your guitar!

We supply amps, cables, effects, sheets, backing tracks and any other learning materials necessary in the classroom.

Students are required to pay for general consumables such as replacement strings and plectrums etc.

Students may be required to purchase music books/scores and any relevant accessories as required to support their learning.  As individual learning requirements are different please speak to your tutor about any additional support materials that you may need.

If a lesson has been offered and you do not attend you will still be charged.

We regret we are unable to offer an alternative for lessons missed due to holidays, sickness, school trips, exams and dental/medical appointments.

If you are unable to attend a lesson, please contact your tutor as soon as possible.
